About

Cuatro Vientos is proud to announce that it will host of the 2nd Annual Women Awakening, A FULLY BI-LINGUAL EVENT, December 1-3, 2017.

It all started when...

Angelica Vélez Robinson, founder of Women Awakening is a native of Denver, Colorado with a Bachelor of Arts in Behavioral Science. She and her husband fell in love with Todos Santos five years ago while visiting Cerritos during arguably the worst time of the year to be in the area, September. Carving out a niche for themselves in Todos Santos over the past few years, while holding down a thriving criminal law practice in Denver has presented some challenges, but the work has been joyful and the experiences and friendships they have made have been life changing and incomparable. Angelica woke up in the early morning after her birthday with an epiphany: she must create a women’s summit in Todos Santos. Perfectly poised for such an event, Todos Santos hosts a variety of festivals throughout the year. Angelica was honestly surprised that a women’s summit didn’t exist in Todos Santos already. The feminine energy in Todos Santos is a rarified and powerful thing and learning so much from other women in her life, she wanted to create a unique and enlightening knowledge sharing experience with the women of Todos Santos and beyond. Once she shared her vision with the co-creators of Women Awakening, the wellspring of ideas was tapped and began to flow. Angelica Robinson and the co-creators of Women Awakening are honored to share this uniquely unifying experience with you.

jill mollenhauer

I look visually and viscerally into the oneness of the universe – capturing for a moment the truth of ourselves,” says Jill Mollenhauer, an artist whose multimedia paintings offer a succinct spatio-temporal display of form, color and figuration. Working with acrylic in a process that gives her paint on canvas the translucence of watercolor while maintaining the vibrancy of acrylic, she creates ethereal compositions with subtle gradations of color. Highlighting meditation, the regenerative power of Nature and the Divine Essence of collective humanity as the source of her creative flow, Mollenhauer is a visionary abstract painter with Transcendentalist leanings. In addition to pigment, her paintings often incorporate layers of paper and found objects such as metal, shells or beads she finds along the coastal regions of California and Mexico.  Jill Mollenhauer is a native of Southern California and currently resides in Todos Santos Baja California, Mexico.

Her successful workshops; 'Karma', 'Vibration', The Kybalion and 'Remembering your original project (blue print)', fulfill the main objective of raising the vibration and level of consciousness in people.

Birthing our Dreams: The Natural Rhythm of Feminine Creation with Cristina Alonzo

The vision of Women Awakening came as a tiny seed, implanted in one woman´s mind, as the chosen “mother” to birth the project. First a secret idea, this grew and grew until it was so apparent it was the most obvious and apparent transformation within this woman´s body. She shared it with her community of sisters who she also knew would care for this idea/baby/vision and together they proudly birthed the gathering. Labor pains, contractions, “we can´t do it”, “we are so close”, “I can see it” and suddenly, "it's there"! And then "its done" and exhaustion creeps in. And then we start again, a gestational process of preparing and nurturing, birthing and recovering. Just as Women Awakening was created this presentation will guide women through the natural universal patterns of gestation, birth and postpartum so we can all connect with how to turn a fabulous idea into a live, growing being and how to listen and connect to our natural conception rhythm to maximize our capacity to birth our power and offer it to the world.

The Power of One, Empowered Women Can Change the World with Elena Moreno

Female sexuality is one of the most powerful forces on the planet, but it has been largely co-opted and exploited, denied and shamed in our current world. Fully reclaiming our power as women requires us to break through this shame and take full ownership of this sacred power within us. Your yoni is part of your inheritance, your birthright as a woman, regardless of your age or stage of life.  She has pleasure, love, strength, and wisdom for you. In this workshop, we will explore how to create a nurturing, empowered relationship to your yoni so you can access the power and gifts contained within her. Through learning to honor our yonis, we begin to know ourselves more fully. We strengthen our capacity to live our truth and hold our boundaries. And we discover an infinite source of pleasure and radiant energy that we can use as power and fuel to manifest what we desire in any area of our lives. Come learn how you can create and expand your sacred connection to this powerful part of your feminine body.

  Featuring:

Dra. Ana Luisa Guluarte, Delegado Seguro Popular BCS.
Estrella Navarro Holms free dive champion

The objective of this workshop is to use the magic of Numbers to decode the vibration that is inherent in every moment of our lives; each number holds within a code that explains to us how we ought to walk day by day, opening our hearts to unconditional love, leaving behind fear, jealousy, pride, guilt, and vanity, thus living accordingly with our original design. In this workshop, I invite you to reclaim your Power from your congruency, from your responsibility and from your acceptance of the fact that everything begins from loving yourself and the universe you inhabit.                                                            The main points of the Workshop are Introduction to Sacred Numerology. Explanation of each number and its vibrations. Why are the years 2017 and 2018 transcendental. Explanation of the root on 2017 in its purest essence. Explanation of how each participant could know her personal number. The great gifts of the universe that we had forgotten. What is KA DIVINE.

In this presentation, Zoë will define shadow (that which we are not aware of, that which we reject in ourselves, that which society deems unacceptable), and will create several opportunities for women to explore their own relationship to shadow, on a personal, as well as universal level.  She will start with a short talk on why reclaiming the darker, less known parts of ourselves is so important for us as individuals and for our society as a whole. She will share through personal examples, how integrating shadow can unleash a tremendous amount of power and energy and can awaken our unique purpose. The rest of the workshop will be interactive, where Zoë will share a variety of tools that engage the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual ways we can understand and reclaim power as well as other vital shadow elements, such as fear, anger and shame.

A Dharma Talk preceded by a guided Vipassana meditation period.

A Dharma talk is said to be an art form.  It is woven starting from a sincere presence, using several forms of speech, all in agreement with the teachings and considering the current circumstances of the listeners. Elena is happy to share what she has discovered on her own self-inquiry process so far, doing it through an honest account of where she is and where she has been.

Vipassana is an ancient meditation technique that begins with the observation of the breath as a method to concentrate the mind and goes on to observe the changing nature of body and mind.

This workshop will focus on dispute resolution in all aspects of life and strategies that you can use to ensure that you are speaking with your true voice in conflict situations.  We will discuss numerous aspects of conflict and dispute resolution, including:  identifying the many different circumstances in which disputes/negotiation opportunities arise; strategies for placing yourself in the best position for successful and empowering dispute resolution; ways to develop your voice/style in negotiation in a way that ensures that you stay true to yourself in these stressful situations and also fosters and encourages resolution; developing strategies for resolving disputes; and looking at negotiation skills in a larger context – how they can help you in every part of your life, not just in times of conflict and/or crisis.

The Power to Transform
Positive activism that transforms must come from love,
and from love comes service,
and from service comes action,
and from action comes change,
and from change comes renewal.
Activism that comes from hate will always hold the imprint of hatred.
Activism that comes from love will always carry the beauty of that love.
Awaken your potential to become transformative.
Be fearless!
You do have the power to change the world.

MAKING FRIENDS WITH OUR EMOTIONS

WITH ELENA MORENO

In this gathering we will explore our Emotional Body and learn how to overcome extreme reactions and remain calm, cool and in control.

Our Emotional Body is an important, complicated, difficult and sometimes dangerous, but absolutely essential part of our personal make-up. Complex, confusing and unfathomable as it may be, without our Emotional Body we would be incapable of distinguishing the many shades of living.  It lets us know when we are in danger, tells us whether our behavior is good or bad, and helps us to recognize positive actions that should be replicated and negative ones that should be avoided.  It is that part of us that enjoys the finer things of life and makes us more than an unfeeling robot.  There is, however, also a sinister side to our emotions. Once aroused, by either positive or negative triggers, our Emotional Body can take us on a wild and confusing ride.

Elena Moreno is a yoga teacher, doctor of Naturopathy, writer, environmentalist and entrepreneur. She is on the board of a number of nonprofit organizations dedicated to education, conservation, service and indigenous traditions.  She is also the founder of the Empowerment Series, an educational program for personal growth and spiritual development, which is taught in the United States, Mexico and other countries.  A mother and grandmother, Elena lives with her husband of 45 years, in Todos Santos, a small community on the pacific coast of Baja California Sur, Mexico.

THE GIFT OF INTUITION: YOUR INTUITIVE STYLE AND YOUR PATH TO SELF-AWARENESS

WITH FRAN GALLAHER, INTUITIVE COACH

This session will focus on what intuition is, how we all have it, and how to develop it according to each participant’s Intuitive Style. Knowing your Intuitive Style determines your particular path to self-awareness.

FRAN GALLAHER BIO                                                                                           Coaching is about directing and developing your intelligence to perceive the need and direction for change, create choice and take positive action. Intuitive coaching is using intuition -- yours and mine -- to direct your intelligence more precisely to access guidance and create the greatest scope of choice with the best possible outcome.

Intuitive Coaching is an experience of precise, specific guidance and direction designed to motivate, increase awareness, create informed choice and provide energetic support to people who wish to improve their lives, evolve their relationships and create greater success and satisfaction.

Fran Gallaher is the Founder of Really Flourish LLC. Fran uses her intuition and access to guides to make her coaching focused, efficient and effective to get to the heart of her client’s situation. She also uses focusing exercises and guided visualization to assist clients during individual sessions and workshops to allow her clients to more strongly connect to their inner selves through direct experience and the discovery of their own, often unrecognized, inner resources and heart’s desires.

CONNECTING WOMEN, TRADITION & NUTRITION

WITH NIKKI BURNETT, MS CNTP MNT, HOLISTIC, FUNCTIONAL NUTRITION

We live in an interesting time. We know more, yet we are sicker. We have more access yet we are limited in understanding.

We, as women, have an amazing amount of power – power to feel, to accept, to heal, to learn, to change, and to lead. We are critical decision makers within our family units, within our communities, within our world.

The most basic need in life is food, yet it has become one of the most misunderstood and confusing areas of life. There is more confusion as to what healthy foods are and what it means to be healthy. Mainstream media, mainstream medicine, the industrial revolution, the internet – all of these things have given us more access, more information, more connection, yet we’ve lost all of these things in ourselves.

The goal of this workshop is to begin to understand food again. It’s time we take nutrition back to basics and learn to listen to our own inner wisdom, not the internet. It’s time to bring healing and good health back to its roots. Beyond the beauty of traditional food, we need to understand the impact that non-traditional foods have on our bodies - from our physical and emotional health, to our DNA, then on to our children and our children’s children. Food is life. Food is a way of communication for our cells and our genetic code. A broken line of communication creates broken health, but a clean line of communication can bring us life, vibrancy, and vitality.

The key points of this workshop include:

  • Nutrient dense, traditional foods vs fake, fad foods
  • Epigenetics – food as communication
  • Nutrient deficiency and cell danger response
  • The world we live in – our environment is just as important as the food we eat
  • Empowering yourself and your health – where to begin

NIKKI BURNETT BIO

Nikki is the founder of Taste Life Nutrition, a practice dedicated to holistic, functional nutrition to meet the needs of the biochemical individuality of each client. She is also the Chief Nutritionist for Trainer on Demand by Lifestyle Social, and LifeStyle Social. She has a Master’s degree in Science, she is a Certified Nutrition Therapy Practitioner, and Master Nutrition Therapist. She works with many different conditions in practice: Reproductive health and fertility, autoimmunity, GI health, blood sugar balance, cardiovascular health, and weight control.

Practicing holistic, functional nutrition gives her the ability to work with people as individuals. To assume one way of life works for all people is a sad, simplistic view of the complexity of the body, the environment, genetics, food, and many other factors. She is committed to changing the way people view food and creating healthy relationships with the life giving foods we eat every day. This is very often a neglected relationship and if that is changed, we can learn to appreciate and understand that food is more than food...it is life.

Practicing holistic nutrition means she looks at the body as a whole. Her job is not to only work with the condition at hand, but to dig to find the root cause of that condition. This not only includes the physical manifestations, but emotional and psychological as well. The body works as a whole, not in pieces.

Practicing functional nutrition means that she runs labs in order to best understand deficiencies and imbalances in the body. This takes out much of the guess work and gives us a better understanding of what the body needs. It gives guidance in the best strategy to bring balance back to the body.

FINDING FLUIDITY THROUGH THE FEMALE ARCHETYPES

STACIE SCARBERY

Women played a very important role in the life of ancient tribes. They were more than just mothers of the tribes’ children. They were builders, warriors, farmers, and craftswomen. Their strength was essential to the survival of the tribe. Yet in recent times, we have been limited to the Madonna or the whore, to name a few, pigeonholing us into a limited and preconceived aspect of our authentic selves and hindering our ancient and intuitive knowledge.

We are all dynamic beings, with many attributes. However, grooming by society has drawn very clear lines of who we should be at various stages in our lives, thus impeding our ability to grow and creating a fear of how we are perceived.

This workshop is an opportunity for us to explore the many female archetypes and reclaim the suppressed parts of ourselves, by being fluid, adaptable in who women are at their core, who we are at our core and unlocking our true potential by honoring our feminine power at our deepest level.

FEATURED ARTIST

The Journey of Woman expresses within the Infinite Universe. It is an intense love affair. As we grow and nurture that which is us truly, we awaken to our miraculous feminine strength and passion, to our profound softness, and to our own divinity.

The warm chakra colors speak of our connection to Mother Earth, our ability to create and passionately engage in being beautifully Human. We are magnificent powerhouses!

Our other half, our ethereal Self is expressed as cool blues and greens. These colors represent the heavens and the heart, the counterpart to our earthly expression. Together they merge in love. The affair is quite literally within us.

The merging of these two culminates in the yellow, which opens and reveals our true selves. As we release that which does not serve us, the pure white in the center brings forth strength, where the crystal, our Knowing resides.

The gold cord represents our journey, individually and collectively to this place of Knowing.

Each hand-sewn stitch along it was lovingly placed to represent a woman, in fact every woman who ever has or will step upon this earth. Whether we travel this road in groups or individually, we are never truly alone. We walk together united as one.

YOU are represented here. I bow to your courage, to your beauty, to the feminine wisdom that has guided you here and to this place, right now. I bow to All that will forever travel beside and within you.

TITLE IX

After having to hitchhike to the mountains for ski training at Denver University, in 1975 she led the Title IX March in Washington that gave generations of girls equal sports and education in schools. It has since saved Americans a trillion in healthcare and welfare.

SNOWDANCES
After teaching a Lakota to ski in Telluride in 1995, he led a snowdance that saved their ski area from a snowless Christmas. Four miracles later she found herself co-founding the Native American Olympic Team that has inspired ski areas across the U.S. and Canada to share the healing joy of skiing and boarding with over 10,000 tribal youth.

This inspires their Elders to lead snowdances that have saved ski areas from droughts since Walt Disney asked the tribes to save their 1960 Squaw Valley Olympics. In 2012 the consensus of the UN's 192 countries was the key to regenerating Mother Earth is green technology and the Ancient Wisdom of the tribes. Stanford's 2007 Nobel Prize winner Dr. Stephen Schneider urged the rest of the ski areas to follow.

OCEANDANCES
Marie Mercedes Sanchez of Nicaragua, the UN Sustainability officer, urged Chaffee to share her "Snowdance Phenomena" story with communities worldwide and spread oceandances when she moved to Puerto Vallarta in 2010.  10 whales came at the end of their Whale Protection oceandance, led by the Aztecas and Cherokee, another transformed the Bay to turquoise, and the tribes helped Vallarta survive Patricia, the fiercest hurricane ever. Stories on NAOTF.org.

WOMEN EQUAL PAY
Since women in the U.S. make 77 cents for equal work, and ski areas on Forest lands have discrimination laws, Chaffee led a demonstration in Aspen in April with fellow ski champions, given sport heroes set society's standards.  To make amends to women, Chaffee is fighting to give all women a 33% discount to ski so they can afford pricey lift tickets now, until women get equal pay. This will double their profits since moms bring 3 family members, and serve as a model of the benefits of equalizing America.

ENDING DIABETES & ZIKA and DENGUE IN MEXICO
A healthcare leader of US and Mexico, Chaffee saluted Mexico's President Pena Nieto for recommending stevia to turn around diabetes and obesity. She co-founded Vallarata Saludable partnering with the UN to help transform the region into organic farming through micro minerals and nanotech, which also clears the ocean. After developing yummy recipes with 10 superfoods, she isdeveloping with the UN Team the highest nutrition foods to allow astronauts into deep space, while locally healing diabetes. At her request they developed organic solutions to protect everyone from the Zika and Dengue viruses and an oral to reduce affects overnight to protect children's brains and joy.
